Princess Franca Afegbua’s Burial: Governor Obaseki Receives Accolade From Afegbua Royal Family

The family of Afegbua Royal Family of Awuyemi-Okpella in Etsako East Local Government Area of Edo State, has sent a message of appreciation to the Governor of Edo State, Mr. Godwin Obaseki and the State First Lady, Mrs. Betsy Obaseki and other well-meaning individuals and organizations who identified with them during the transition to glory, and burial ceremony of Princess Senator Franca Adiza Afegbua.
In a letter signed on behalf of the Afegbua Royal Family Welfare Association (ARFWA) by Prince Abdul Afegbua and Dr. Umar Kadiri Afegbua, National President and Secretary-General respectively, the family specifically expressed appreciation to the state governor for naming of Ogiriga-Afokpella-Okugbe Road in Okpella after Senator Franca Afegbua
“The Afegbua Royal Family appreciates your thoughtfulness and wonderful act of love towards it and we will never be able to repay you for your generosity towards Late Princess Senator Franca Afegbua, even when she was alive; we are truly grateful for your example of unconditional love.
“We can attest that you were a wonderful friend to Princess Franca Afegbua both alive and dead. Thank you for your kind and comforting encouragement, which has helped us cope with the loss of our beloved Princess Franca Afegbua as we continue to grieve.
“May the Almighty God continue to elevate Your Excellency and your entire household; may He protect and bless you and your family without end. Amen.

“The Afegbua Royal Family is grateful for the outpouring of love during this difficult time and we pray that God will meet you in your hour of needs,” the statement added.
