A MESSAGE OF HOPE FROM HON DR. JOSEPH IKPEA TO ALL APC CANDIDATES IN THE FORTHCOMING LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTION IN EDO STATE
My beloved All Progressives Congress (APC) members and respected flag bearers of our great party across all wards and local government areas in Edo State, in less than 72 hours; the long awaited, much talked about and most postponed local government election in the history of Edo state will be taking place.
As a person, I am with high hopes because it is going to be a walk over for APC if free, fair and credible atmosphere is accorded the contest by EDSIEC. As a party, I know APC is well prepared as we have put our best foot forward in featuring our candidates for councilorship and chairmanship positions across all the wards and local government areas.
Rigorously, we have campaigned and our manifestos well sold to the electorates and it received their buy-in with a promise to vote APC candidates across board.
We made history during the National Assembly contest this year. We repeated same during the State House of Assembly elections in March. This incoming local government elections present another opportunity for record breaking for us as a party.
I urge every spirited APC members and our good people of Edo State to cast their ballots for APC candidates and together we shall move Edo state to enviable heights.
Let’s join hands to make this happen. I passionately appeal.
