In fulfilment of his electioneering campaign promise and his subsequent emergence as the councillor representing Oredo Ward 12 in the legislative arm of Oredo Local Government Council, Hon. Elton Etinosa Eruotor has distributed writing materials to the pupils from his constituency.
The schools that benefited from Hon. Elton’s benevolence was the popular Agbado Model Primary School on Akpakpava Road and Emokpae Primary School on Mission Road, Benin City, Edo State capital.

The exercise which took place today, 15th September, 2023, was heralded by jubilant pupils who were anxious to receive the much awaited philanthropist gesture from the newly elected councillor representing Oredo Ward 12, with writing materials included notebooks, pencil and pens.
Before distributing the writing materials to the pupils who were in school on the first week of resumption, Hon. Elton said that his decision to embark on such philanthropist gesture is bound out from his desire to ensure that all children in his constituency have access to quality education, because as it is usually said, ‘education is the key to success’.
Hon. Elton noted: “I am not going to play politics of tribalism, discrimination or partiality. I will not mind party affiliation, everybody will be carried along as a result of the love I have for my constituency and for their overwhelmingly support for my party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and ensured I came out victorious. I will not derail in my campaign promise. And also they will not regret bringing me out to represent them.

“So, time to time, I will come and repeat what I have done here today. I am in that position as councillor because I went to school. I will encourage you to read hard so as to come out with flying colour.”
Going further, Hon. Elton added, “it may interest you pupils to know that I have perfected plans to embark on scholarship programme across the primary school in my constituency. So, read hard to grab the opportunity.
This is just the beginning of many projects I intend to execute during my tenure as Councillor. You should expect more from me.”
In a brief remark Mrs. Mary Ogege and Mrs Egharevba Philomina of Emokpae primary school described the gesture as amazing and encouraging. “We want to say a big thank you to Hon. Elton Etinosa because it is not easy for the pupils. They have been expecting it. Even last Monday, they were asking us, auntie are they not coming to give note books, pencil and pen. At last Hon. Elton is here to deliver on his promise”.

“I want to say, on behalf of the pupils, thank Hon. Elton Etinosa for this great thing he has done for us. We really appreciate the gesture. We prayed God Almighty to guide and provide for him so as to fulfill all his electioneering campaign promise “.
Mrs. Erhabor Evelyn and Mrs Igbinobaro, teachers from Agbado primary school said they are happy on what the councilor has done for the pupils, which they said will go a long way in reducing the burden on parents. “At least the children are happy that they have books to write and they will always pray for him. I say may the good Lord bless and replenish his pocket in Jesus name.”
Mrs. Chukwu Roseline, a teacher in Emokpae primary school said she is a family friend to Hon. Elton Etinosa Eruotor. According to her, “Right from onset, Hon. Elton has been a wonderful person to reckon with. So, I know him very well and I thank God for his life, even the position he has attained, God will bless and give him the strength to do more than we would even expected from him “.
