Efforts by Edo State Deputy Governor, Comrade Philip Shaibu to have access to his official office inside government house of Dennis Osadebey Avenue, GRA., Benin City, failed as the office was locked with chains and heavy padlocks.
Comrade Shaibu who was accompanied by his security aides waited for over hour to get answers as to why his official office was locked.

According to Shaibu, “I have not moved to anywhere, nobody has given me letter to move to anywhere. So, if governor said I have moved, I have not moved. How will I moved out of my office. I am here to resume, and my office is locked, the gate is locked with padlock. I call the governor and he is not picking, you call the governor that I have not moved, I am here to resume my duty.
““I was told that the civil servants were given letter from the office of HOS to move out of this place. I am here, they should come and open the gate please. Call the governor that I am at the gate that they should please come and open the gate.”““I was told that the civil servants were given letter from the office of HOS to move out of this place.
