Esan North-East Residents Appeal For Restoration of Electricity

Residents of Esan North-East local government area of Edo State has expressed worry over lack of electricity in the area and appeal to the Executive Chairman of the council, Hon. Inedegbor Kelly, to as a matter of urgency find lasting solution to the continuous black out in the local government.
Speaking to The9JaTREND reporters at Uromi, the administrative headquarters of the local government area, some residents said that for over seven months, there has been total blackout in the local government which gives hoodlums free hands to capitalizing and continuous to perpetuate their nefarious activities in the area.
They said the transformers energizing electricity to Uromi, the heartbeat of Edo State has not been working for quite some time and criminals are using the opportunity to commit different crimes in the area.
They appealed to Hon. Inedegbor Kelly the local government council Chairman to come to their aid and ensure that electricity is restore soon.
