Yakubu Greets Okpere At 80

Hon. John Yakubu has described Air Vice Marshal Anthony Ehijele Okpere as a worthy son of Edo State who performed creditably at the national stage thereby bringing pride to our people.
Hon. Yakubu made the remark in a message from his media office in celebration of the 80th birthday of the former Minister of Aviation and former Air Officer Commanding (AOC) Training Command, Kaduna Rtd AVM also serves the nation as a member of the then Armed Forces Ruling Council among many other positions he served in.
Hon. Yakubu who is a frontline People’s Democratic Party (PDP) 2024 Governorship aspirant and former Chairman of Esan North-East Local Government said that he was proud of Rtd AVM Okpere’s exploits in public and community service which earned him the traditional chieftaincy title of Edoghor of Uromi from the Ujuoromi of Uromi Kingdom.
He prayed God Almighty to grant AVM Okpere many more years of service to the nation in good health of body and mind.
