Yakubu Calls For Patriotic Leadership As Nigeria Celebrates 63 Independence

A frontline Edo 2024 PDP Governorship Aspirant and former Esan North-East Local Government Chairman, Hon. John Yakubu has congratulated Nigerians on the nation’s attainment of 63 years.
In a goodwill message issued by his media office, Hon. Yakubu however lamented that despite the nation’s abundant human and natural resources it has not grown to the level of its peers due to what he referred to poor leadership issues.
Hon Yakubu however thanked God that despite the obvious setbacks Nigeria has remained one country.
He urged our people to come together as one to tackle the issues that have held the nation hostage by ensuring the emergence of patriotic and courageous leadership at all levels that will see the country as one and work for the benefit of all.
Hon Yakubu who was the PDP Deputy Governorship candidate in the 2016 election urged Edo people to use the opportunity of the upcoming off season 2024 Edo State Governorship election to vote in a patriotic, honest and competent governor that will take the state to the next level.
He said if given the opportunity to govern the state, he would build on the solid developmental foundation laid by the Governor Godwin Obaseki administration.
