A prominent humanitarian and a prospective candidate for the Edo State 2023 governorship election Engineer Morrison Eghobamien, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to teachers and recognised their invaluable role in shaping communities and the world.

In an interview with journalists, Eng. Eghobamien emphasised that teachers are the true architects of our society, without whom our progress would have stagnated at a primitive stage.
He acknowledged their pivotal contributions to advancements in agriculture, economics, technology, scientific breakthroughs, and many other facets of our lives.
Eng. Eghobamien also voiced his concern regarding teachers’ working conditions and remuneration, asserting their dedication deserves more recognition.
“Despite the challenges they face and the modest rewards they receive, teachers play a pivotal role in shaping the future by imparting knowledge to our youth” he said.
As part of his commitment to the cause, Eghobamien pledged to improve teachers’ remuneration, enhance their working conditions, and provide students with a conducive learning environment come 2024 after his emergence as Edo State governor.
He firmly dismissed the notion that the reward for teachers lies solely in heaven, emphasising that they deserve tangible support and appreciation for their tireless efforts in nurturing the future generation.
Eng. Eghobamien, in his address to teachers in Edo State, encouraged them to remain hopeful and to consider their choices in the upcoming 2024 elections critically.
He urged them to vote wisely, selecting a leader who will elevate Edo State to new heights, providing teachers and students with the support they need to thrive.
