He made the call in a statement personally signed by him and made available to journalists in the state.

Hon. Umaigba said when the people have access to information, it can help them make an informed decision and create a better understanding between the parties involved.

Umaigba said where people have problem is when things are shrouded in secrecy and the people are not carried along in the day-to-day activities that have direct impact on them.

The political stalwart added that since his first appointment as the Personal Assistant to the then Executive Chairman of Ikpoba Council, followed by his election as Councilor to represent Ward 5, he has stood firm on these principles, focusing on the way forward for Ikpoba Okha.

He said that our political environment today is fraught with challenges, yet it holds immense possibilities for growth and enhancement.

He added that at this time of inevitable change and progress, he urge all party members, stakeholders, and leaders to embrace all changes, knowing that the party’s visions and goals are paramount.

“It is vital that we maintain a transparent channel where ideas can flow freely, and where every voice can be heard.

“This open communication is crucial as it fosters understanding and cooperation, which are essential for our collective success.

“In addition, our focus must also be on strengthening our growth relationships within the community and beyond.

“These relationships are the foundation of our success, ensuring that our strategies are inclusive and robust, benefiting all members of our community.

“I vehemently condemn violent approaches and abuses in resolving issues”, Umaigba said.

The APC chieftain further advised all stakeholders to abstain from all forms of violent behaviour and focus on constructive and peaceful methods of resolving conflicts, pointing out that, as they move forward, they should consider carefully and respectfully the need for peace and harmony in their various communities as there cannot be meaningful development in an atmosphere of rancour.
