WHO IS MARTINS AZEKHUMEN OKOUKONI

Martins Azekhumen Okoukoni is one of revered son of Esanland whose philanthropic disposition is well spread across Edo Central District of the state.

Fortunately, many might not have had contact with him due to his principle of extending his hands of fellowship behind the scenes but those who by chance had contact with him always testified about his deed and also became the vanguard of spreading the gospel of his philanthropism.

Martins Azekhumen Okoukoni was born on January 9, 1983 at St. Philomena Hospital, Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Okoukoni.

Martins Azekhumen Okoukoni was raised by paternal grandmother from his home town Uromi, Esan North-East Local Government Area of Edo State where he attends all necessary education. Growing up as young intelligent boy, he was and still a dedicated Christian.

In 2010, Martins Azekhumen Okoukoni gained admission into foreign university abroad, where he studied and had degrees across various universities including The United Kingdom.

Martins Azekhumen Okoukoni started working as a sale representative for a company that provides solar energy for eligible homes in the United Kingdom, contracted by the United Kingdom government, an initiative that aim to reduce air pollution and encouraged people for an alternative source of energy.  

Martins Azekhumen Okoukoni later resigned and found a company “Recruitment Generals Ltd”, an establishment that focused on creating jobs and assisting the unemployed people in the United Kingdom to find suitable jobs. He is the current Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Recruitment Generals Ltd; He is a recruitment consultant to many companies around the world   and a registered member of NMC United Kingdom as a healthcare professional.

As part of Martins Azekhumen Okoukoni efforts to create a social value through the reduction of social inequalities and charging government of Nigeria to improve the welfare of Nigerians, by providing policy enabled environment for Nigerians to strive. He set up a social media platform known as New Nigeria Movement where he champions as a social activist and later set up now known as Okoukoni Care Foundation as a means to reaching out to the less privilege in Nigeria societies. Okoukoni Care Foundation over the year have supported the less privilege by providing funding for tuition fees, enrolment of WAEC, NECO, startup businesses and many more.

Martins Azekhumen Okoukoni is nicknamed as “Social Boy” due to his continues efforts in makings sure government policies is channeled toward creating a standard social value where everyone matters and where everyone can achieve aims and objectives.

Martins Azekhumen Okoukoni is happily married to his lovely wife and blessed with three lovely children both living together.
