“My election is a reflection of your confidence in my capabilities to represent you at that high level of legislative assignment which i can never take for granted.

“I share in your feelings as Nigerians who are now displaced in their fatherland. Ordinarily, if there was a responsible government in Nigeria, we should not be going through these hardships.

“Nigeria’s situation became terribly bad that we had to take our destiny in our hands to rescue the country from the claws of bad leadership. That is why, we as a people are supporting Mr. Peter Obi and the Labour party for that real change for the betterment of all.

“I am here to assure you that we will not be frustrated with the result of the presidential election declared by Independence National Electrical Commission (INEC), rather we have resolved as a people to compile what we have started. Our president will get our mandate back but we have to complete the assignment by voting Labour Party candidates in the forthcoming Edo State House of Assembly election.”

Other Labour Party leaders and candidates in the entourage also called on all Nigerians residents in the IDP Camp and across the state to keep voting Labour Party.

The Co-ordinator, IDP Camp, Pastor Solomon Folorunsho while receiving the visiting Senator-elect and his team who came with lots of gifts and supportive materials, thanked the visitors for finding time to identify with them.

“We appreciate your coming to see us. Your visit is an indication that you value God and your fellow human beings in this camp. We pray for you all that God will stand-in-gap for you always,” he said.
