Edo LP Chairman Salutes Workers On May Day Celebration
…Commends Nigerian workers resilience inspite of harsh economic conditions
By Chris Akhabue
The Chairman of Labour Party (LP) Edo State Chapter, Comrade Kelly Ogbaloi has said that the Nigerian worker has been resilient in their unflinching resolve in the pursuit to contribute to the development of the socio-economic growth of the Nigerian state in the face of harsh and unfavorable working conditions coupled with the dwindling economy situation.
This was contained in a statement issued, signed by Comrade Kelly Ogbaloi and made available to the press earlier today.
According to him, “Nigeria has had its unfortunate share of the global economic downturn in recent times which was orchestrated by the global economic recession and the outbreak of the COVID 19 pandemic made worse by the Nigeria perennial traumatic and inept leadership style that has grossly incapacitated the Nigeria workforce.
“The Nigeria workers deserve commendation, accolades and celebrations for their unflinching resolve to steadfastly contribute relentlessly to the building of a virile Nigerian nation despite the nonchallant attitude and criminal negligence of government to address the plight of the Nigerian workers.
“When the success story of our great country, Nigeria would be recounted, it would certainly remain incomplete without the inclusion of the noble and selfless contributions of the labour of love for fatherland by the Nigerian workers.”
He therefore advised the Nigeria workers to continue to put in their best as they have always done while we pray for a government that is responsive to ideals that promote socio-economic well-being of all.
