Dickson Imansogie Defection: Lies From Pit Of Hell – Osakue

A chieftain of Edo State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Martins Osakue has said the rumour of defection of Owere Dickson Imasogie from the party making the rounds, is a lie from the pit of hell and a figment of the peddlers imagination.

While reacting on behalf of Owere Dickson Imasogie in Benin City, Edo State capital, Osakue said Imasogie who is a diehard party man has the blood of the party running in his veins and cannot leave it for any other parties.

“The rumours are unfounded, if there is any person who has PDP in his DNA, Dickson Imasogie is the one; he is our leader in the Edo South.

“You can see we just came for our usual weekly caucus meeting, comprising leaders of Orhionmwon, Ovia and Oredo local government areas which also included the PDP party chairman of Ikpoba Okha local government area.

“We usually meet a weekly basis to brainstorm and rob minds on happenings within the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP).

“lf there are issues we need to solve, where he (Owere) cannot go, he usually send some of us and if we have some issues too, we usually go to him and our leader to address them with him,” he said.

Going further, the PDP chieftain added: “But let me say, the rumour going around that says Owere Dickson Imasogie is considering leaving the party is a figment of imagination of mischief makers.

“Of course, when you have a colossus like Dickson Imasogie, people must talk. You know the political dispensation, people want to discredit him as much as possible but they can’t. The long and short is that, there is no oita of truth in it”.

Martins Osakue warned those spreading false information about him to have a rethink and be mindful of what they say about a true party man like Owere Dickson Imasogie.
