Community Urges Public To Ignore Unwholesome Acts To Put lgbobi In Bad Light

Elders and leaders Of lgbobi Community in Ovia North-East Local Government Area of Edo State has urged members of the public to ignore the unwholesome activities of some persons trying to put the community in bad light.
In a statement in Benin City, the Odionwere of Igbobi, Chief Peter Ugiagbe cautioned those trying to foment trouble in the peaceful community to exercise restraint and tow the path of peace.
The statement said, Ozumu is the name of shrine in the area under Igbobi and not a community.
He appealed to one pastor Festus Osayemwenre Egharevba who is not from Igbobi but from Obazuwa village to concentrate on the activities of his village and allow Igbobi to continue with their daily activities.
The Odionwere also noted that the four persons from the community who were recently released from police detention were cleared of any wrong doing.
He commended the police in Edo State for carrying out thorough investigation where those arrested were cleared to go.
Igbobi Community is located on Upper Ekenwan Road, in Ovia North-East Local Government Area of Edo State.
