EPIA Set To Organise Town Hall Meeting

The Edo Progressive Indigenous Association (EPIA), a.k.a. “Edo Progressive Movement Worldwide” is set for 2024 Town Hall Meeting with the Theme: “The Prospect of Indigenous Participation For National Development”.
In a statement signed by Chief (Dr) Bishop Omogiade Edokpolo and Comrade Sylvester Inegbenehi, President and Organising Secretary of the association respectively, date of event is June 28, 2024 at the main hall of Canada World Hotels and Event Centre, Plot 45, Country Home Road, Off Sapele Road, Benin City, Edo State capital and the meeting commences at 12pm prompt.
The statement added: “Distinguished speakers at the event include, Prof Eddy Erhagbe, Prof of History, Lingua, Diplomacy and International Studies at the University of Benin, Prof Godwin Okogun, Prof of Microbiology and Parasitology at Ambrose Alli University, Barr Daniel Ogbegie and Dr Judith Iseghohi, a development economist.”
Going further, the statement added that Guests of Honour at the event, Hon. (Barr) Sergius Oseasochie Ogun, former House of Representatives member representing Esan North-East/Esan South-East Constituency and Hon. Patrick Aguinede, CEO, El Classico Royal Hotel, will share their insights on the need for Indigenous Participation in nation building.
“Spiritual Father of the Day is Pastor Chris Evbaziegbere, Senior Pastor, God Forgiveness Deliverance Ministry while the moderators at the event are Ace Broadcaster, Peter Imona Omoaka a.k.a. Ayomosi and most celebrated Sir Godwin Egbe, event facilitator.
“Edo state is our ancestral home and we must collectively make it become an enviable one. Come one, come all!!” the statement concluded.
