JC International Honours Festus Alenkhe

Junior Chambers International (JCI) Edo Bronze has bestowed the award of Personality of the Month of September 2021 on Comrade Festus Alenkhe, who is aspiring to lead the Edo State chapter of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) from December.
Making a speech at the grand event which took place at House 39, GRA. Benin City, Edo State, a celebrity hangout situated at 39 Imuentinyan Street, GRA, Benin City, President of the group, Eson Blessing, said that the choice of the hardworking Crime Reporter with Edo Broadcasting Service (EBS) is as a result of his chain of achievements in his endeavours which included his credible leadership of the various groups he has been a member which also include the Red Cross Society and the Nigerian Youth Council among many others.
She affirmed that the choice of Festus Alenkhe was widely embraced by the members of the JCI, charging the awardee not to rest on his oars even as he march on to greater heights promising that he will be well supported by the group any time any day such a support is needed.
“When we (JCI) were discussing during our last general assembly on who to be our next personality of the month we had so many listed names and some persons made a statement when Festus Alenkhe’s name was mentioned. They said ‘this man cut across all aspects of JCI that we want to look into and he is fit enough to be the personality of the month of September.”
One after the other members of the JCI in the entourage of Eson Blessing poured encomium on Comrade Alenkhe giving him tips on how to overcome challenges on his path in his future endeavours.
Responding, Comrade Festus Alenkhe thanked the JCI for the award and promised not to let them down in whatever he does. He affirmed that his achievements are made possible because of his belief in impacting positively on humanity.
Other members of the JCI who witnessed the event included Henry Asemota (GLC Edo Bronze), Ambassador Bevy Efe (Past President, Edo Bronze), Nyemudim Ema (2018 VP JCI Uyo City) and Honest Omonfuegbe (JCI Edo Bronze).
