Our President Was Never Arrested Or Detained – BSM

The Benin Solidarity Movement (BSM) Worldwide, a non governmental and non profit making group has reacted to the trending socio media reports that its president, Ambassador Comrade Curtis Eghosa Ugbo was allegedly arrested and detained over land grabbing in Benin Kingdom.
In press statement issued and signed by Acting Secretary of the group, Comrade Esohe Adun said that there is no iota of truth on the report as being speculated.
The statement reads, “Message to all Benin Kingdom cum Edo State people, Curtis Eghosa Ugbo our amiable President of the Benin Solidarity Movement BSM Worldwide was never arrested or detained for any Land Grabbing as speculated by some unscrupulous elements in Benin Kingdom.
“The enemies are at work trying to tarnished the image our president took years to build which was attracted to His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo, Uku Akpolokpolor, Oba Ewuare II, Oba of Benin Kingdom to invite Ambassador Elder Comrade Eghosa Curtis Ugbo and appointed him as the Chairman, Committee for the Recovery of Oba of Benin’s Properties.
“We are already gathering evidence against them, and we shall take appropriate legal action(s) at the right time.
“We can not continue like this as a people!!!” the statement concluded.
