Edo Police Arrests One Fake Military Officer With 2 Army ID Cards

The operative of the Anti-Cultism Unit of the Edo State Police Command has arrested suspect who parade himself as Military Officer in Benin City, Edo State capital.
The arrested suspect is Kingsley Egharevba aged 34 was spotted around Sapele Road, Benin City dressed in military uniforms.
According to the PPRO of the Command, SP Chidi Nwabuzor, “The arrest was made possible following credible intelligence received from some Military Officers that the suspect, Kingsley Egharevba aged 34 was spotted around Sapele Road, Benin City dressed in military uniforms.
“Immediately the operatives moved to the scene and arrested him. He made statement and confessed being a fraud Star who uses military uniform to defraud and extort money from victims.
“Items recovered from the suspect at his residence, Avbeama Community, off Saint Savour Road, Benin City, Edo State, include Military uniforms, two (2) Nigerian Army, I.D. cards, and three (3) Portraits with the suspect’s Image.
In another development, Operatives of Anti-Cultism Unit of the Edo State Police Command received a credible information of some secret cult activities at Ovbiogie Community along Benin – Lagos Express way, Benin City, Edo State.
According to Police image marker, SP Chidi Nwabuzor, “Immediately, the Operatives stormed the area and arrested on the spot one Afona Omoruyi ‘M’, age 41 years who on investigation led the police for the arrest of another Suspect, one Osaretin Ighagosa ‘M’, age 30 years.
“Suspects made statements and confessed being members of Aiye Secret Cult confraternity. During search one single Barrel gun and one wall clock with the inscription of Aiye secret cult confraternity. Suspects will soon processed to court,” PPRO said.
