Obaseki To Preside Over NYSC Opening/Swearing-In Ceremony

The Executive Governor of Edo State, Mr. Godwin Obaseki would on Friday, preside over the opening ceremony of the 1,603 National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members posted to the state for their one year service to their fatherland.
The State Coordinator of the scheme, Mrs. Abiodun Olubukola disclosed this to newsmen in Benin City.
She said the formal Opening/Swearing-In Ceremony will come up on Friday 27th January 2023 by 10am at the 36 NYSC Orientation Camps nationwide including the Federal Capital Territory.
Olubukola said in Edo State, the course will take place at the Permanent Orientation Camp in Okada, Ovia North-East Local Government Area of the state.
She added that the Chief Judge of Edo State is expected to administer the Oath on corps members.
While appreciating the people of the state for their favourable disposition to corps members, the coordinator further appealed for the usual assistance in making their one year mandatory national service memorable for the corps members.
