Sokoto State Deputy Gov. Resigns From PDP

The Deputy Governor of Sokoto State, Hon. Manir Muhammad Dan Iya has resigned his membership from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

In a letter addressed to the ward chairman, Kware Ward, Kware Local Government Area, Sokoto State, Hon. Manir Muhammad Dan Iya refused to disclose his reason for resigning from the PDP.

Part of the resignation letter reads, “I write notify you of withdrawal of my membership from the Peoples Democratic Pargy (PDP) with effect from 8^th February, 2023.

“I appreciate the opportunities given to me,  which made me serve in various capacities under the People Democratic Party (PDP).”
