Ogbemudia Bassey Osagie Salutes Oba Ewuare II On His Appointment As NOUN Chancellor

The President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Uhi Security Services Limited Worldwide and one of the aspirants contesting for the position of Mr.
Governor of Edo State come 2024 gubernatorial election, Ogbemudia Bassey Osagie has congratulated His Royal Majesty Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II, the Oba of Benin Kingdom on his recent appointment as the Chancellor of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).
In a press statement issued and signed by Ogbemudia Bassy Osagie described His Royal Majesty’s appointment not only well-deserved but also a clear evidence of the high esteem the Federal Government holds the reverend monarch.
The governorship aspirant opined that His Royal Majesty’s appointment was also recognition of the important place that Benin and Edo State occupy in the affairs of the nation as the ‘Heart of the Nation’ and acknowledged the President Muhammadu Buhari for the honour done the great Oba of Benin Kingdom.
“I pray to our God Almighty and our ancestors to grant His Royal Majesty Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II, the Oba of Benin Kingdom the wisdom and excellent health to navigate the activities of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) to greater heights.
