Ex-Edo Speaker, Okiye Commiserates Oniha’s Family Of Uromi Kingdom

 A former speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly and a frontline Edo 2024 governorship aspirant, Rt. Hon. Francis Abumere Okiye has commiserated with the family of Oniha of Eduwu-Ague Community and the entire people of Esan North-East local government over the demised of Chief William Oniha, the Oniha of Uromi Kingdom.

According to a press statement issued and signed by Hon. Francis Okiye on behalf of Francis Abumere Okiye Campaign Organization and made available to newsmen said the late Chief William Oniha was a very dynamic man that wanted the good of Uromi people.

“Chief William Oniha was a very dynamic man that wanted the good of Uromi people, and he was a resilient and dogged fighter, sometime, he does not go sleep to the fact that Uromi will be great.

“Chief Oniha also appreciated the growth of the young ones.  I remember vividly at some points he was able to speak to power even when Chief Tony Anenih was alive.

“He is a man that reverend the palace and supports the palace because he knows that that is the anchor point of an average Uromi man. We believed that he was an epitomized in that regard,” he said.

While noted that Uromi people will greatly missed him; the palace will greatly missed him, Rt. Hon. Francis Okiye said he will personally missed his fatherly advice, and pray to God Almighty to accept his soul in His bosom.

He enjoined the children he left behind to keep on the good work of their father, they should remain fearless and dogged and they should believe that their father was a great man.
