The media space has been awash of the activities lesbianism/homosexualism which according to findings now cut across all ages and professionalism in the society.

It will be recalled that in concerted efforts to stem these tide and nip it from the bud, the federal government promulgated a law that any one, group or organizations found to be involved/ participate, promote Gay, Bisexual, Lesbianism, Transgender and others are culpable and liable to 7-14 years of prison in the correctional court system.

There is no legal protection for those involved in these activities in Nigeria. This also is the reason why several communities in the country today have seen people been lynched as a result of lesbianism or homosexual relationship.

According to the average person on the street “It is alien to our culture, traditions and practices for same sex people to engage in sexual relationship and it  is considered as a taboo and abomination”.

A lot of cases abound in the society that have been in the known and not known to the people and the authority concerned, a good example is that of a young mother and her friend that were caught in the act and snowball into involving dreaded cult members.

A young lady, a mother of one, Ifeoluwapo Mary Folorunsho is on the run to save herself as a result of threats to life by some deadly cult members who are after her and her friend for their alleged involvement in lesbianism.

Trouble was said to have started for the young lady Ifeoluwapo and her ex-roommate, Esther Elewode who was said to be a sister to one Seun Elewode, head of a notorious and dreaded cult group, the Black Axe (aye) confraternity Abeokuta zone.

According to a close source who spoke to our correspondent and pleaded anonymity said the ladies were caught in the abominable act in their apartment and were beaten up, disgraced and subjected to inhuman treatment by the mob which included some popular members of the deadly Eiye confraternity of which one of the members named Jimoh Okewole, who was in a serious romantic relationship Esther Elewode but she ended the relationship abruptly after meeting Ifeoluwapo.

The source further added that the said Jimoh became very jealous and blamed Ifeoluwapo for Esther’s relationship breakup with him and threated to kill her. This made her flee for her life to an unknown location.

Continuing, the source pointed out said Jimoh was heartbroken, continued to manhunt Ifeoluwapo and finally found her at Ibadan where him and his gang of Eiye confraternity members brutally beat her and raped her leaving her for dead. She miraculously survived the attack after being hospitalised and then ran to meet her ex-lover’s brother Seun Elewode who was the kingpin of a rival cult (Black Axe) in Abeokuta, Ogun State for refuge.

The source added that after narrating her ordeals to the said Seun Elewode, he was infuriated after learning about the attack on Ifeoluwapo and went after the said boys and members of the rival cult for revenge but he was however killed in the process and since the saga has become a full scale cult war which has led to the death of over 40 people across Ibadan, Lagos, Benin City and Abeokuta.

However when the correspondent sought to know about her whereabouts of Ifeoluwapo, the source disclosed that nobody has any clue for fear also of being attacked by said cult members.
