Ramadan: APC Chieftain Congratulates Muslims Ummah, Calls For Peace, Unity, Prayers For Nigeria

A chieftain of Edo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), stalwart in Iwu village in Ovia North-East local government area of Edo State, Mr. Success Eghosa Uwuigbe has felicitated Muslims Ummah on the commencement of Ramadan and similarly called on the people to use the period to pray and unite so as to sommaunt the problems facing the nation.
Mr. Eghosa made the call while speaking to the journalists on the significance of the Holy month of Ramadan.
Mr. Success Eghosa Uwuigbe who is also the Chief Executive Officer, Mine Petroleum Nigeria Limited, noted that the Holy month of Ramadan is very special and significant to the Muslims hence the need to appreciate Almighty Allah and to identify with each other for witnessing 2024 Ramadan.
He expressed concern over the high rate of crime across the nation as well as the geometric increase in prices of food and services.
Mr. Uwuigbe urged Muslims and non Muslims alike to unite and use the period of the fasting for collective efforts in finding lasting solutions to the socio-economic challenges facing the country.
He subsequently urged the Muslims to use the period to support the vulnerables in the society to enable them observe the fasting with ease and also have that sense of belongings as stipulated in the Holy Koran.
While congratulating the Muslims in Edo State for a successful 2024 Ramadan fasting, Mr. Uwuigbe prayed that Almighty Allah blessed them with strength, patience and wisdom.
