According to him, Easter serves as a profound reminder of the triumph of light over darkness, faith over doubt, and love over despair. It is a time for reflection, gratitude, and renewal of faith, as we draw inspiration from the ultimate sacrifice and resurrection of Christ, embodying the values of compassion, forgiveness and redemption.
In the spirit of Easter, Comrade Uroupa reaffirms the party’s commitment to fostering unity, peace, and harmony among all residents of the state, irrespective of religious affiliations.
“We recognize the diversity and richness of our cultural heritage and stand united in our shared humanity, bound by the common values of love, compassion, and solidarity.
“As we celebrate Easter, let us also remember those in need, extend a hand of kindness to the less fortunate, and embody the spirit of selflessness and service exemplified by Christ. Let us strive to build a more inclusive, compassionate society where every individual is valued, respected, and empowered to reach their full potential.
“May this Easter season bring joy, peace, and blessings to all Christian faithful in Edo State and beyond. May it serve as a time of spiritual renewal, reflection, and recommitment to the values of love, unity, and compassion that define our shared humanity.”
