Edo SWAN Inaugurates 2024 Electoral Committee

Edo State chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, (SWAN) today inaugurated a 3-man electoral committee to conduct election into various positions of the Association.
The Congress which took place at the Samuel Osaigbovo Ogbemudia Stadim Press Centre, saw the emergence of Comrade Lucky Isibor as the Chairman of the Electoral Committee while Deacon Simeon Osajie and Comrade Abavo Kingsley emerged as members, respectively.
The Committee emergence which was adopted by Congress, thus enabling them the legitimate authority to conduct the state SWAN election.
Chairman of the Caretaker Committee, Comrade Ozioruva Aliu, while addressing the Electoral Committee, tasked them to carry out a credible election that will see the emergence of individuals with the progress of the Association at heart for the birthing of prosperity in the Association.
He also advised the Electoral Committee to play by the rules of the Association’s statutes by allowing a level playing ground for all aspirants for the various positions.
Present at the congress and inauguration of the electoral committee was the SWAN Zonal Secretary (South-South), Mr Joseph Isokpehi, Comrade Ozioruva Aliu, Comrade Lucky Isibor, Jethro Ibileke, Edosa Okunbo, Chris Akhabue, Mansa Adeleke Ayooka, Precious Nath Okwueze, Deacon Simeon Osajie, Edward Oseghe, Isaac Olamikan, Idemudia Junior, Kehinsw Osagiede, Sharon Ekhiwere.
