Edo SWAN Sympathizes With National President, Isaiah Benjamin On Mother’s Death

The Edo State chapter of Sports Writer Association, (SWAN) has empathized with its National President, Isaiah Benjamin over the death of his mother, Mama Agnes at the age of 78.

The9jaTREND reports that in a letter addressed to office of the National President, SWAN National Secretariat, Abuja signed by Ozioruva Aliu and Lucky Isibor, Edo Caretaker Committee Chairman and Secretary respectively and made available to newsmen stated that the demise of Mama Agnes at this material time as it is coming few months after the passing of his father.

According to the statement, “We urged the president to be consoled by the fact that Mama lived a good life and saw to the exemplary upbringing of her children as exemplified by our own president.

“While we pray for the peaceful repose of the soul of Mama Agnes, we pray that the almighty God grant you and your siblings the fortitude to bear the loss.

“Please accept our heartfelt condolence.”
