Edo Guber: PDP Suspend Ongoing State Wide Campaign

The Edo State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Gubernatorial Campaign Council has announced it suspension of the ongoing state wide campaign till further notice.
The9JaTREND disclosed that the Director General of the Campaign Council, Hon. Matthew Iduoriyekemwen stated this in a public statement made available to newsmen in Benin City, the state capital.
According to him, the reason for the suspension is in view of the imminent Ten Days Protest against hunger and pain occasioned by the visionless and uncaring All Progressives Congress (APC) led administration in the country.
“We the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State are constrained to suspend our ongoing state wide campaign till further notice.
“This is our own modest show of solidarity with the pauperized Nigerian people. We feel your pains,” he added.
