AA Distance Self From Planned Illegal Gathering, Meeting By None Party Member

Edo State chapter of the Action Alliance (AA) has distanced self from planned illegal gathering and meeting called by one Hon. Ambassador Pastor Osarumwase S. Oshodin a none member of the party scheduled to hold on Friday 30th, August, 2024 by 10:00am at No, 82, Siluko Road After Oliha Market, by Akugbe Junction, Benin City, Edo State.
In a press statement signed by the State Chairman of the party, Hon. Osaro Uwaifo said Hon. Ambassador Pastor Osarumwase S. Oshodin is an imposture and urged the general public to disregard the illegal gathering and meeting.
The Statement further advised the general public and all concerned can verify the name of the authentic Edo State Chairman of Action Alliance (AA) led by Hon. Osaro Uwaifo from the state office of the commission (INEC) and INEC official website to verify the authentic National leadership of the party led by CHIEF BARR KENNETH UDEZE as the National Chairman of the party.
The Statement read in part: “ACTION ALLIANCE (AA) DISTANCE SELF FROM PLANNED ILLEGAL GATHERING AND MEETING BY NON PARTY MEMBERS IN EDO STATE LED BY ONE HON. AMB. PST. OSARUMWASE S OSHODIN.
“The attention of the Action Alliance (AA) led by the authentic Edo State Chairman Hon. Osaro Uwaifo and National Chairman Chief Barr Kenneth Udeze to a planned illegal gathering and meeting by non-party members scheduled to hold on Friday 30th, August,2024 by 10:00am at No, 82, Siluko Road After Oliha Market, by Akugbe Junction, Benin City, Edo State.
“The party disclaim the organizers of the planned illegal gathering and meeting in the name of Action Alliance (AA) and urge the general public especially the good people of Edo State to disregard in its entirety any press release or statement or resolution that may come from these none members of the party especially as it concerns the Action Alliance (AA) position for the upcoming 21st September, 2024 Governorship Election in Edo State.
“The general public and all concerned can verify the name of the authentic Edo State Chairman of Action Alliance (AA) led by Hon. Osaro Uwaifo from the state office of the commission (INEC) and INEC official website to verify the authentic National leadership of the party led by CHIEF BARR KENNETH UDEZE as the National Chairman of the party. That the planned illegal gathering and meeting by these none members of the party has already been reported to the commission of police, Edo State Command and the Director, Department of State Services (DSS) Edo State Command for their arrest and possible prosecution for impersonating AA leadership.
“The general public and the media should disregard any information especially as it concerns the upcoming Governorship Election in Edo state that may come from these none members of the party on behalf of Action Alliance (AA) as the party under the authentic Edo state leadership and National leadership will communicate to the general public and especially the good people of Edo state of the party position as it concerns the upcoming Edo State Governorship Election at appropriate time.
