Born into the family of Alenkhe of Okhuesan Community, Esan South-East Local Government Area of Edo State, Nigeria, his sojourn into limelight started as a young kid when he started his primary education at Arinze Primary School and Niger College in Benin City and thereafter, Utoka Grammar School, Ovia North-East Local Government Area of Edo state where he obtained his West African School Certificate (WASC). He also attended College of Education, Ekiadolor, where he read English/Linguistics and then obtained his National Certificate In Education .

Festus Alenkhe, who holds a Diploma Certificate in Broadcast Journalism from New York Film Academy also attended the University of Benin where he bagged a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Studies And Diplomacy (B.A), a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism from the International Institute of Journalism, IIJ, affiliated to the University of Maiduguri.

A Holder of a certificate in Paediatric Art from the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), a certificate in Radio/TV news reporting from the Consular General of the United States of America Embassy in Nigeria, and also a certificate on Executive MASTERCLASS from London Centre For Training And Development, an Africa Ambassador, courtesy of World Safety Organisation and a fellow of Global Safety institute, of course, his trophy shelf is filled with a legion of awards which he got from within and outside the shores of Nigeria, courtesy of his addiction to doing his job to near perfection.

Widely travelled, Festus Alenkhe is a Jerusalem Pilgrim (JP) following his religious visits to Rome, Israel, Jericho, Greece, Bethlehem, Jordan and Egypt. He is a Peace Ambassador, courtesy of the Universal Peace Federation. 

His media experience which has benefited the entire Nigerian society and Nigerians in diaspora through key programmes – Crime Watch and Crime Alert on both Radio and Television have spanned over two decades.

Dogged and unrelenting Festus has embarked on Crime News investigative visits to Austria, Italy, Spain, France, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates and United States of America where he did a special report on the assassination of the former President of America, John Fritzgerald Kennedy with a visit to the spot where he was assassinated in Dallas, Texas, USA.

He is a resource person to the core. He loves his job with passion and believes in engaging the youths towards having a crime free Nigerian society where peace, security, justice, progress and development would reign.

Festus Alenkhe was the Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Edo state Chapter, Chairman, Nigerian Red Cross Society, Edo state Branch, he was also chairman, Students Representatives Council, College of Education, Ekiadolor. He was also Speaker of the Students Union Government, College of Education, Ekiadolor and a Chief of the Kegites Club International. A member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), he is currently the Vice Chairman of Edo State Agency for the Prevention of HIV/AIDS and also a member of the Risk Pillar Edo State COVID-19 prevention team.

Through his tireless efforts, Alenkhe has garnered numerous accolades and recognition, both at home and abroad. His work has been celebrated for its profound impact, as he has time and again shone a light on the darkest corners of society, empowering the voiceless and challenging the status quo.
