200 Pupils Receive Instructional Materials From Esohe Foundation

Following the successful launch of Esohe Foundation in Benin City on October 12, 2024, over 200 pupils from three Primary Schools in Edo South Senatorial District have benefited from the Foundation’s free distribution of reading, writing and instructional materials.
The three beneficiary schools are Oluku Primary School, Idinowina Primary School and Okhun Primary School, all in Ovia South-West Local Government Area of Edo South.
In a statement at the launch held at the Foundation’s office, 33, Stadium Road, Benin City, the Founder, Esohe Foundation, Mrs. Esohe Osagiede said the need to give back to the Society and meaningfully empower the less privileged ones gave rise to the establishment of the Foundation.
She informed that although the empowerment program was beginning in Edo South, plans were underway to extend same to other schools in Edo Central and North Senatorial Districts in due course.
Chairman of the occasion, Engr. Osahon Eribo in his remarks, commended the vision of the Founder, Esohe Osagiede for having been able to put smile on the faces of the less privileged in the society in these hard times of the Nigerian economy.
Speaking with newsmen at the event, some of the parents and benefiting pupils from the three Primary Schools appreciated the Foundation for the kind gesture and sued for sustenance of the empowerment program.
Dignitaries from all walks of life, including community elders, market women, educationists, media practitioners and civil society organisation graced the occasion.
Highpoint of the well attended ceremony was the formal launch of the Foundation and distribution of reading and learning materials to the pupils of the affected schools who were visibly overjoyed.
