Foundation Gives Out Food Items, Writing Materials To 50 Widows, 500 Students, Pupils In Edo

In the spirit of celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Esther Foundation Global today gave out food items to 50 windows, school writing materials to 500 Youths and Children across Edo South Senatorial District of Edo State.
The event took place at the premises of the Angel House Ministry, Evbuotubu Quarters, Benin City, Edo State capital.
In her welcome address, the founder of the Foundation, Esosa Ajala whose address was presented by Edo State Coordinator of the Foundation, Beatrice Alohan said Esther Foundation is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) founded and built on the Foundational Scripture – (Psalms 78:4-8)
The vision of the Foundation the founder disclosed is to raise young disciples for Jesus through formal and informal education. Restructuring the educational system globally, by institutionalizing the Bible into the educational infrastructure, starting with Nigeria; Benue, Benin City, and beyond.
According to Miss Ajala, “The Esther Foundation’s Mission is to bring the gospel of Jesus to Gen Z and Gen Alpha through Digital evangelism and In-person evangelism (visiting primary schools, secondary schools, and ChildCare Homes) and providing tech education and most importantly, Spiritual education (through teaching the Word and prayer).”
Going further, Miss Ajala added that the Foundation is setting up discipleship structures for Gen Z and Gen Alpha by partnering with local churches and schools to enable consistent spiritual tutelage. The Foundation is also providing scholarships for children/teens in rural areas and partnering with the local churches in those areas to ensure discipleship. Curating and sponsoring internship opportunities across the globe for children and teens in local churches in alignment with the prophetic destiny of each child and teen while trusting God to Eradicate spiritual and educational Illiteracy in orphanage homes, and eradicating hunger in orphanage homes. They are creating and curating ‘Holy Alternatives’ to the way the world has defined ‘Fun’ for young people (Gen Z and Gen Alpha)
While delivery her sermon, Miss Joy Ajala, junior sister to the founder of the foundation, urged the youths and children to endeavour to seek for God’s counsel whenever they are passing through tribulation, adding that “if any of you lack wisdom, let him or her ask of God that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not, and it shall be given him or she.”
There was a lots of side attractions presented by children from Edo South Senatorial District of the state. They include Bible citation, Seven Social Hymn, Drama Presentation, Bible Debate, Quiz Competition, Kingdom Dance, amongst others.
High point of the activities were presentation of food items to 50 widows, school writing materials, takeaway packs to 500 youths, children and kids.
In an interview with newsmen, some of the Windows thank God Almighty for the provision for Esosa Ajala, Founder of Esther Foundation to enable her make provision of food stuffs to the widows to celebrate Christmas and celebrate New Year and pray for the sustainability of the Foundation.
According to Mrs. Paulina Adeleke, one of the beneficiary, “I thank God for this by Esosa Ajala, founder of Esther Foundation, because this is the first of its kind. In fact, I really appreciate this kind gesture of Esther Foundation because this time where things are really difficult I n the country, Esther Foundation came to our rescue so that we can celebrate Christmas and New Year in joyous mode. I’m grateful to God and we pray that God Almighty will lift this Foundation upper and upper every day. You can see, this is Rice and this is Garri and they are very good for this season. The whole world will get to know and hear of this Esther Foundation in Jesus name – Amen.”
