Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, (RCCG) has called for serious prayers to avoid a Third World War. 

Adeboye also said prayer was needed against increase in violent storms, floods, fire outbreaks and earthquakes that would make previous ones look like child’s play 

Giving his prophecies for 2025, at the first Holy Ghost service of the church in the New Year, Pastor Adeboye, popularly called Daddy G.O, said “the Lord asked us to pray; so, during the 100 days fast, we would need to really pray. 

The9jaTREND recalls that the revered cleric had during the church’s crossover service given his prophecies concerning Nigeria and promised to speak more on Friday at the Holy Ghost service. 

Speaking the mind of God on what to expect on the international scene, Pastor Adeboye said “By the way, whatever is true for the international scene, part of it is true for Nigeria. 

“The Lord wants us to pray against increase in violent storms, floods and fire outbreaks that will make previous ones look like child’s play.

“And we are to pray against new wars; that new wars will not start. That the old wars will not get out of control so that we don’t have another World War. That is serious prayers because if there should be a World war, it will affect you wherever you are”.

Locally, the octogenarian professor of mathematics prophesied that 2025 would be a “landmark year; a year never to be forgotten…The last time we saw a year like this was in 1936… 

“The wind that started blowing last year, will blow more strongly. There are implications from that. One of the implications is that greater secrets will be exposed.

“Number two, it also means things will begin to cool down, particularly after the 100 days fast. I’m sure you know we are fasting for 100 days. It means things will begin to cool down because the first 30 days of our fasting is going to be prayers for our nation and some of the prayers would have an element of violence involved; that those who are determined to ruin this nation, If they don’t change, they should be uprooted. So, things would begin to cool down by the time the 100 days would be over”.

According to him, 2025 is a landmark year, “it is a year when definitely the kingdom of God will suffer violence and the violent will take it by force.

“The wind will be blowing stronger than before, and one of the implications of that is that there will be some lifting. So, there is going to be quite a lot of lifting up; some remarkable promotions. 

“And then the Lord says the day someone has been waiting for will occur this year. One of the implications of that is that there will be many, many wedding bells. And one of the things God said was that some earthly helpers will be replaced by heavenly ones.

“Then the Lord says mockers will be louder and more aggressive like never before. I’m sure some of you saw on the Internet how some people use AI to generate a picture of me looking like an Alhaji. The Lord said mockers will be louder and more aggressive this year than ever before but unfortunately, Daddy says many of them will not survive this year.

“I’m the one who added unfortunately because God does not want the death of sinners. All He wants is that they will repent and live. But some of these people have made up their minds that they are not going to repent. It’s unfortunate”.

The RCCG General Overseer also prophesied that “Some towns and villages this year will shout victory at last. I believe that one means that whatever it is that had been holding down the progress of these towns and villages would be uprooted”.
