As a result of a series of complaints emanating from the abandonment of land acquired for more than twenty years in Ute Community, by the bypass in Uhunmwonde local government area of Edo State, the Ohen, Elders and the people have called on the public to come for a verification exercise in the community town hall

In a press release for the verification exercise signed by the Ohen- Evbunute, Chief Obasuyi Osagie, the Elders Council Secretary, Obasuyi Kenneth and the Okaighele (youth head) Amb Dr. Billy Oriakhi said the people of Ute Community deem it necessary to carry out the verification exercise because the lands that have been abandoned without development have become safe haven for criminals and criminality in the area.

The people however urged any persons or organizations that have landed property(s) in  Ute community to get it cleared or commence development. The Community further advised those interested in acquiring land in the village not to go through any agents but rather through the appropriate authorities vis-a-vis the Ohen-Evbunute, Elders Council and the youth head (Okaighele).
