Edo LP Consoles Akpata Family Over Demise Of Their Patriarch

The Edo State chapter of the Labour Party (LP) has sympathized with the family of former Edo LP governorship candidate in the September 21, gubernatorial election, Barr. Olumide Akpata over the demised of the patriarch, Pa. Ogieva Akpata.
According to a statement signed by Comrade Sam Uroupa, State Publicity Secretary of the party and made available to newsmen stated; “We remember your father’s influence on your life, particularly during your early years, and the values he instilled in you that have shaped you into the remarkable individual you are today. Your father’s legacy lives on through you, and we are grateful for the positive impact you’ve had on our party, the people of Edo State and humanity in general.”
Comrade statement further noted “As our party’s candidate in the recently concluded gubernatorial election, you demonstrated exceptional leadership, integrity, and dedication to the welfare of our people. Your father must have been proud of the man you’ve become and the strides you’ve made in your career as a lawyer, business man and politician.
“May the fond memories of your father’s love, guidance, and support comfort you during this difficult time. May you find strength in the knowledge that you are not alone in your grief, as we stand with you in solidarity and sympathy.
“Please accept our heartfelt condolences. May your father’s soul rest in peace.”
