Breaking: Ohen Of Okhoromi In Police Net Over Attempted Murder, Cultism, Assault, Others

Igbinovia Ovbokhan Kelvin, the Ohen of Okhoromi community in Oredo Local Government council, has been taken into police custody for alleged crimes including attempted murder, assault, and cultism.
As one of the notoriously suspected land grabbers in Edo State, Kelvin’s arrest comes after a petition was submitted to the Force Criminal Investigation Department of the Nigeria Police Force Abuja on February 25, 2025.¹
The petition, titled “Re: A case of Attempted Murder, Assault, Threat to life, Violence, Criminal intimidation, Stealing, Cultism and Conduct Likely To Cause Breach of Peace,” led to Kelvin’s arrest on March 26, 2025.
A source revealed that the arrest was made in connection with an alleged land grabbing and threat to life incident.
Kelvin is facing possible charges including:
Attempted Murder where he was accused of trying to take someone’s life over a land belonging to the bearer of the petition.
