2025 MOTHER’S DAY:Hon. John Yakubu Celebrates Mothers

A foremost aspirant for the Edo Central Senatorial ticket under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the by-election in the district, Hon. John Yakubu has felicitated with women and mothers for their invaluable role in shaping society.
Yakubu, in a statement signed personally and made available to newsmen in Benin, appreciated the role of women and mothers in nation building.
He said the contributions of women towards a better society can not be over emphasized just as he commended mothers for their unwavering dedication, resilience, and sacrifices in shaping families and society.
He urged women and mothers to remain steadfast despite the economic challenges bedeviling the country, assuring that their sacrifice for a better nation would not be taken for granted.
He wished all women, both home and abroad, a Happy Mother’s Day saying that Nigerian women are forever our heroines.
“As we commemorate the 2025 Mother’s Day, I celebrate our women and mothers for their selflessness and support to their families despite the biting economic challenge. Together, with the women unwavering commitment for our development as a country, we have no doubt that Nigeria will surmount the enormous political and economic challenges.”
Yakubu advocated for more gender inclusive policies, which will ensure that more women are given leadership roles and platforms to thrive.
