Edo Central Senatorial PDP Aspirant, John Yakubu Felicitates Christians At Easter

Foremost Edo Central Senatorial aspirant on the platform of Peoples Democratic party, (PDP) in the forthcoming by-election, Hon. John Yakubu has sent message of felicitation to the people of Edo Central Senatorial District in particular and Edo State at large on the celebrate of Easter.

In a press statement Hon. John Yakubu personally signed and made available to journalists, the former Esan North-East Local Government Council Chairman congratulated Christians for witnessing another Easter celebration and prayed God Almighty to make them to witness many more Easter celebrations in their life time.

According to the statement, “Let me join the good people of
Edo Central in particular and Edo State at large to mark the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ which metamorphosis to Easter Celebration. It is my wish that the risen of our Lord Jesus Christ will continue to protect His children in peace and love.

“As we look forward to another celebration, l pray God Almighty to protect His children and lessen the sufferings Esanland is currently passing through and promised to remedy the situation if he emerged the PDP candidate and subsequent win the forthcoming senatorial by-election in Edo Central.

*I urged Christians to emulate the foot steps of Jesus Christ and refrain from evil and embrace the spirit of love and live in peace and harmony across the nook and cranny of Esanland and Edo State in general.”

Going further, the Edo Central Senatorial PDP Aspirant called on Christians to always share love with one another as that constitutes the integral part of the teaching of Jesus Christ.

“As we renew our individual faith today, we must continue to thank our Lord Jesus Christ for staking His life for us on the Cross of Calvary,” Yakubu concluded.
