The Managing Director of Edo State Geographic Information Services (EDOGIS), Dr. Tony Ikpasaja, has expressed appreciation to the staff of parastatal on the occasion of Workers’ Day.

“I am proud of the hard work and dedication of our staff, and l assure them that their labor shall never be in vain,” he said.

According to Dr. Ikpasaja, a single bamboo stick can easily be broken but a bundle of sticks cannot be broken.

This proverb, Dr Ikpasaja said, highlights the importance of teamwork, which is essential for achieving success in any endeavor.

He noted that the SHINE PROJECT agenda of Governor Monday Okpebhbolo is manifesting in EDOGIS, and the Agency’s staff and clients in the other offices recently opened in the two other Senatorial districts have benefited from the agenda.

“The SHINE PROJECT agenda has been reflected in our Agency, and we are grateful for the Governor’s leadership and vision,” he added.

When asked about the impact of the Governor’s agenda on the staff, Dr. Ikpasaja said, “The staff of EDOGIS will always smile, knowing that Governor Monday Okpebhbolo is already doing the needful in ensuring their welfare. The regular payment of salaries and benefits is a testament to the Governor’s commitment to the well-being of workers in Edo State.”

Dr. Ikpasaja extended fellowship to other Agencies of government and wished all Edo Workers a Happy Day.

He reaffirmed EDOGIS’ commitment to ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for its staff.

“We will continue to work together to build a brighter future for Edo State and Nigeria,” he said.

Dr. Ikpasaja wished the staff a joyous celebration of Workers’ Day and a happy new month and pray that the celebration of 2025 Workers Day celebration should bring joy, happiness, and renewed motivation to EdoGIS Workers to continue to do their best for the betterment of the parastatal.
