Int’l Workers Day: John Yakubu Salutes Edo Workers Reaffirms Commitment For Better Esanland

Frontline aspirant for the Edo Central Senatorial District by-election, Hon. John Yakubu has felicitates with Nigerian workers on the occasion of Workers’ Day.
In a statement signed and made available to newsmen in Benin, the former Esan North-East Council Chairman hailed the resilience and dedication of workers saying their labour shall not be in vain in the commitment to their fatherland.
He urged for a more enabling environment for the Nigerian workers to thrive, calling on government at all levels to prioritize the welfare of workers in the country.
Yakubu, who eulogies workers and labourers across the world for all the hard work they do, pledged to champion the struggles if given the mandate at the Nigerian Senate.
According to him, International Workers’ Day, which is celebrated across the world, also known as Labour Day, is an occasion to commemorate and thank workers for their selflessness and handwork.
He particularly sent warm greetings to workers in Edo Central Senatorial District and Edo State at large applauding their contributions to development of Esanland and Edo State at large.
Yakubu who emphasized the need to celebrate the ever hardworking Edo Central Workers – teachers, civil servants, traders, farmers, artisans, and public sector professionals who drive community growth for the betterment of the society assured Edo Central Workers that his commitment for a better society for Esan people will form part of his first priorities under his leadership as their senator in the Edo Central by-election.
Yakubu promised that as a senator, his goal will be to legislate and lead with integrity, ensuring the voices of Esan people are heard and respected in the policymaking process.
