AAU, Ekpoma Matriculates 6,457 Fresh Students, Assures of Uninterrupted Academic Calendar

Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, recently welcomed 6,457 new students at its 42nd matriculation ceremony for the 2024/2025 academic year.
In his welcome address, the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sunday Olowo Samuel, Prof. Samuel advised the students to focus on their studies and be good ambassadors of their families. He assured the students that the university would provide an enabling environment for learning, allowing them to graduate in record time.
Prof. Samuel highlighted the university’s assurance to training students in both character and learning, enabling them to contribute to Nigeria’s growth and development.

He warned that the university has zero tolerance for sharp practices, cultism, and other anti-social behaviours, and that any student exhibiting such behaviour would face disciplinary action.
The Acting Vice-Chancellor expressed gratitude to the Executive Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, for his support in addressing the university’s challenges. He also appreciated the Governing Council, led by Chief Dan Osi Orbih, for providing direction, and assured students that the university’s management, senate, and staff were committed to supporting their learning process.
