Momodu who expressed optimism for a better and united Nigeria noted that today’s commemoration of Democracy Day, indicates a significant milestone in Nigeria’s bid for stable polity; considering the orbit of political events since independence in 1960 and particularly since the June 12, 1993 presidential election considered as the freest and fairest elections in the history of Nigeria.

“I appeal for our collective supports for Senator Monday Okpebholo-led administration and that of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s drive for a national development and the enthronement of good governance.”

While calling for unity, peace, and progress of the country, the Edo Central Senatorial APC Aspirant urged all and sundry, particularly the politicians, to make sacrifice for the betterment the country.

“On behalf of my family and the good people of Edo State and Edo Central Senatorial District, l pray for a happy and peaceful Democracy Day celebration,” Engr. Momodu concluded.
