A group called N’Edo Gharia, a social cultural and nonprofit making organization has urged beneficiaries of the One Billion Naira loan interest free provided by the Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo as an economic empowerment aimed at lifting the economics of the state.
This is contained in a press statement signed by Comrade Ebojele Patrick, National Convener of the group and made available to newsmen in Benin.
While stating that this singular action of the government is expected to improve small scale businesses and other household trades, Comrade Ebojele noted that what Governor Okpebnolo has demonstrated is the basis for seeking a political office, where your words should be your bond.
“The economic implications are that more money is injected into their business and thereby creating more wealth and confidence boosting,” he said.
Comrade Ebojele further enjoined the beneficiaries to invest the money properly into their business concerns so as to spur the Promise Keeper to do more.
