Father’s Day: Hon. John Yakubu Pays Tribute To Fathers

A frontline Edo Central Senatorial Aspirant on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. John Yakubu has paid tribute to Edo State fathers particularly fathers in Edo Central on the occasion of this year Father’s Day celebration.
Hon. Yakubu stated this in his Father’s Day Message made available to newsmen in Benin, Edo State capital.
The message he personally signed, the former Esan North-East Local Government council boss pay tribute to fathers for their immense contributions to societal development, holding the family unit together amidst the hardship occasioned by the prevailing economic realities.
According to him, “Despite the economic difficulties, fathers have remained strong pillars of support in the family, toiling daily to make ends meet while juggling roles such as mentor, leader, protector, provider, and breadwinner. They deserve to be celebrated.
“On this auspicious day set aside to acknowledge their gallantry, sacrifice, love, and resilience, l celebrate our fathers and assure them that if elected senator to represent Edo Central Senatorial District at the Red Chambers of the National Assembly, my support to deliver on our fathers’ duties on the home front with dignity will be one of my priority.”
Going further, the former Edo PDP Deputy Governorship candidate urged fathers, as the family’s reflective mirrors to infuse in their children the right values and character so as to ensure peace, stability, and harmony in Esanland in particular and Edo State at large.
Hon. John yakubu further pray for our fathers’ health, strength, and wisdom and God Almighty to grant them the grace to lead their families with love, compassion, and integrity.
“I also pray for fathers who are facing difficulties that they may find strength and hope in your unwavering love, guide them through any challenges they may encounter, and grant them peace and perseverance,” he concluded.
