Ex-Senate President, Former Rivers State Gov, Ardo Unveil New Political Force

By The9jaTREND
Former President of Nigeria Senate, Senator David Mark, former Rivers State Barr. Rotimi Amaechi, and seasoned politician Dr. Umar Ardo have officially unveiled a new political movement known as the All Democratic Alliance (ADC).
Sources close to the development confirmed that the trio, alongside several political stakeholders across Nigeria, are in advanced talks with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to register the ADC as a formal political party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The alliance, described as a “broad-based political movement,” is reportedly being positioned as a third-force alternative to challenge both the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Inside source say the coalition aims to unite progressive-minded Nigerians across ethnic and religious lines under a banner of national unity, security, and economic reform.
According to preliminary documents sighted, the ADC’s leadership structure will be unveiled in the coming weeks, with consultations already underway with civil society groups, technocrats, and youth organizations nationwide.
Political observers believe the emergence of the ADC could significantly reshape Nigeria’s political landscape, especially as dissatisfaction grows with the two dominant parties over governance failures and insecurity.
David Mark’s reputation as a bridge-builder, Amaechi’s grassroots mobilization strength, and Ardo’s policy-driven politics are seen as key pillars of this new alliance.
The ADC, once fully registered, is expected to begin a national sensitization tour, unveiling its manifesto, branding, and candidate recruitment strategy. (TheNews)
