Barr. Akhere Congratulates Joseph Ikpea On His Victory At APC Senatorial Bye-Election Primary

The Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Edo State, Distinguished Senator Monday Okpebholo On Education and the State Co-ordinator of Akpakomiza-Denco Neighbour-To-Neighbour Movement, Hon. Barr. Vincent Oseyangbonaye Akhere has congratulated Hon. Dr. Joe Ikpea on his emergence as the Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Senatorial Bye-Election Primary conducted yesterday in Edo Central Senatorial District.
In a press statement personally signed by Barr Akhere, former Commissioner for Arts, Culture and Tourism, Edo State and made available to newsmen in Benin, he described the nomination of Dr. Ikpea as a round peg in a round hole, adding that as a former Chairman of Esan South-East Local Government Council and Commissioner for Oil and Gas, Edo State, the Edo Central Apc Senatorial Candidate understands the plight of Esan people and will certainly put Esanland on the World Map of Development when elected into the Red Chambers of the National Assembly, come the 16th August, 2025.
The Ex-Esan North-East Local Government Council Boss stated further, “Your emergence as APC Candidate for the forthcoming Edo Central Senatorial District Bye Election is a testament to your sterling leadership qualities, commitment and dedication to the wellbeing of the people of Esanland”.
While commending Gov.Monday Okpebholo for providing a level playing field for all Aspirants, Barr Akhere stated, “The foundation for a free, fair and transparent APC primary devoid of bitterness and rancour was laid from the onset by our Uncommon Governor, Distinguished Senator Monday Okpebholo who made the nomination process seamless and peaceful through his impressive track record thus far and political sagacity”.

Akhere further described the APC Edo Central Senatorial Candidate as a grassroots-oriented politician whose approach and commitment to creating Constituency Offices in the 5 Local Government Areas in Edo Central when elected will attract a lot of developmental strides to Esanland.”I am confident that Hon.
