He vowed to ensure victory for the party and its candidate, Joe Ikpea, adding that with the support of all his supporters and loyalists in Edo Central Senatorial District, the bye-election is a done deal for the APC.

He said, “I stand before you today to reaffirm my unshakable support for His Excellency, Governor Monday Okpebholo, and the progressive agenda his administration is driving for the good of Edo State. The governor has demonstrated visionary leadership, and I wholeheartedly align myself with his mission to deliver prosperity, unity, and sustainable development for our people.

“I also fully support his choice for our party’s senatorial ticket. As a loyal party man and a true believer in the collective progress of our state and nation, I am prepared to deploy all that I have, my energy, my time, my voice, my network, and my resources to ensure the success of Governor Okpebholo’s tenure.”

Momodu added that come 2027, APC is underway to deliver 2.5 million votes for our leader, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, come 2027.

He said the 2.5 million votes promised by Governor Okpebholo is not just a target but a done deal.

“We will mobilize, sensitize, and stand together as one united force to deliver a resounding victory for our party at all levels.

“I want to assure our party leadership and the good people of Edo Central vis-a-vis the State that the 2.5 million votes for our leader, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, come 2027, is not just a target – it is a done deal.

“Let us put aside all differences and work in unity and hand-in-hand to move Edo Central, Edo State, and Nigeria forward. The journey ahead is one of service, sacrifice, and steadfastness. I am fully committed, and together, we will achieve our collective destiny.”
