He made the call while carrying out a solo protest in Benin, the Edo State capital.

According to him, “In 1953, Chief Anthony Enahoro was the youngest activist to raise the motion for Nigeria’s Independence.
“After many analyses in 1960, the parliament approved his motion. And many Nigerians and many academy regarded Chief Anthony Enahoro as the father of Independence.
“So, I Michael, I call on all men, women and children in Nigeria to support the motion that Chief Anthony Enahoro’s picture should be in the new Nigerian currency.”
The graduate of Public Administration from Auchi Polytechnic, said the late Nigerian nationalist legacy has to be preserved for the generation unborn to learn from it.
Recall that late Chief Anthony Enahoro moved the motion for Nigeria’s self-government in the Western House of Assembly in 1953.
This motion paved the way for Nigeria’s independence, which was officially granted on October 1, 1960.
