The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Chief Dan Osi Orbih, has called for a collective effort from the university community to grow the institution to the desired standard. He made this call while performing the investiture and presentation of the new Vice-Chancellor, Professor (Mrs) Eunice Eboiserehimen Omonzejie to the Senate.
Chief Orbih emphasized that the era of acting principal officers has come to an end with the appointment of substantive officers. He urged the university community to team up with the new Vice-Chancellor and Management team to achieve the institution’s goals.

In her acceptance speech, Professor Omonzejie thanked the Visitor, Pro-Chancellor, and Governing Council for the appointment. She assured the university community of her commitment to fairness, firmness, and collective growth. She also called on the university’s unions to continue supporting the Management.
The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the university’s history, with the Pro-Chancellor describing it as a unique moment. The new Vice-Chancellor pledged to work tirelessly to address the challenges facing the institution and to promote a conducive learning environment.
