Edo Deputy Gov, Idahosa Commiserates NUJ Over Death Of ThisDay Correspondent, Adibe

Edo Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa has commiserated with the Edo council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) and THISDAY Newspapers over the Death of Austin Adibe Emeyonu

In a statement by Mr Friday Aghedo, Chief Press Secretary (CPS) Deputy Governor Idahosa expressed deep sadness over the passing of whom until his death was the Edo State Correspondent of THISDAY Newspapers.

Idahosa described the late Emeyonu as a thoroughbred journalist who distinguished himself through professionalism, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to factual and balanced reporting.

He noted that Emeyonu’s contributions to journalism profession in Edo and Nigeria were remarkable and that his sudden demise represents a great loss not only to THISDAY Newspapers and the NUJ, but also to the broader media community and the State as a whole.

Idahosa extended heartfelt condolences to the leadership and members of the Edo State Council of the union, management and staff of THISDAY Newspapers, and the family of the decease.

He prayed that God grants them the strength to bear this painful loss and grant deceased eternal rest.
